• What's Cooking?

While cooking in the kitchen isn't my thing, firing clay and glazes in the Studio is!

After a long hiatus, I've returned to working with clay. I'm extremely excited about taking a deep dive into the muck and magic of the material. It feels like going home to me.

In the last year I purchased a new, computerized kiln and hefty slab roller. I've been experimenting with dozens of glazes in the cone 6 firing range. Sculptural objects are gliding through my fingers, causing me great joy.

Listening to what the clay wants to become is my preferred way of working. I try not to impose my will upon it. It's a delicate dance that I love showing up for!
